AMBULANCE MEDICAL CARE AND TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Mohawk Ambulance Service has a fleet of 34 ambulances maintained to exceed all NYS Department of Health regulations. Our Ambulance Service can provide both Emergency and Non-Emergency medical care/medical monitoring and transportation services – at three levels of care:
Basic Life Support provides transportation to a patient who requires transport on a stretcher and/or who requires medical monitoring and/or basic medical treatments during transportation. An Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-B) provides one-on-one assessment and care, such as monitoring oxygen, to ensure the patient is comfortable and safely transported.
Advanced Life Support is available for a patient who requires more advanced medical attention to include cardiac monitoring, pain management, iv fluids, sedation. A Paramedic provides one-on-one assessment and care ensuring a safe and comfortable trip.
