Paramedic Ambulance Service

Mohawk Ambulance provides 24 hour Paramedic ambulance service. Our Paramedics have extensive training in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and are experienced in protocol for any kind of life-threatening medical emergency.

Neonatal Emergencies

Mohawk Ambulance offers the only mobile neonatal intensive care unit in the Capital District in association with the Children's Hospital at Albany Medical Center. The unit is equipped with the latest neonatal technology, and is manned by an expert medical team including a physician, registered nurse and/or respiratory therapist.

This special service extends to a 25 county area covering Northern New York and Western New England.

Intravenous Therapy

More and more nursing homes are providing intravenous therapy for their patients. An innovative service provided by Mohawk Ambulance allows our Paramedics to assist nursing home staff in establishing intravenous access in patients.
