Mohawk Ambulance, the area's premier provider of medical transportation has expanded our non-emergency transport options. In addition to our ambulances, we now offer Alternative Transportation Services, specialized vehicles used for transport by wheelchair or stretcher. Use our ATS vans for:
- physician appointments
- diagnostic procedures
- hospital visits
- dialysis treatments
- physical therapy appointments
- interfacility transport
- hospital/rehab discharges
Our courteous, professional, uniformed drivers are federally certified and fully trained to safely transfer and transport both stretcher and wheelchair clients.

Let Mohawk take the worry out of your transport experience. Our service will bring you from inside your home to your specific destination, providing as much assistance as you require. Your personal oxygen can also be accommodated.
A companion is welcome to accompany you at no cost.
When your appointment is complete, one call to our Communications Center means we will arrive promptly for your return trip.

Our vehicles are designed to simplify the transport process with state-of-the-art features to accommodate all types of medically-related transport needs.
By Wheelchair
We provide wheelchairs in two sizes, if necessary, or you can use your own. We will handle small flights of stairs if needed, although an additional fee may be required.
By Stretcher
If you need the positioning options that a stretcher provides, we now offer stretcher van transportation for those who do not require medical care during transport. Our caring attendant will be seated beside you as you travel to ensure your comfort and safety.
