Since 1964, we have sponsored an Explorer Post for youths who are specializing in medical and firematics training.

"Kuddles for Kids"
Mohawk Ambulance is also active in supporting programs that improve the quality of life for children stricken with serious illness. In conjunction with Albany Medical Center, we sponsor "Kuddles for Kids", a program in which we annually give more than 500 teddy bears to sick children to help take the anxiety out of the ambulance ride or hospital stay.

D.A.R.E. Program
Through alliances with local fire departments, police departments and schools, we regularly campaign against drinking and driving.

In the Classroom
To help make children more safety conscious, our Paramedics and EMT's visit area schools and classrooms to provide a message of prevention and awareness. We also promote and advocate careers in emergency medical service by representing the industry during annual career day events at area high schools.

Health Fairs & Clinics
You will also find us at health fairs, blood pressure clinics at local shopping centers and senior centers.
