Brief History

Mohawk Ambulance Service began operations in 1964 with only two vehicles and a small garage. Today, Mohawk Ambulance maintains a fleet of 27 ambulances throughout the Capital Region.

Mohawk Ambulance Service employs more than 180 people trained to meet your emergency medical services and transportation needs with three strategic locations in Albany, Schenectady and Troy.

Our 24-hour, seven-days-a-week central dispatch center serves the counties of Albany, Schenectady, Troy and Saratoga.
